John Foley, Holden Clough Nurseries3rd September 2015: In our September meeting we welcome John Foley to talk and display Plants for Autumn Colour. It is always a challenge in the garden to keep the colour continuing on into Autumn so John Foley from Holden Clough Nurseries will be looking at the plants that lead on from the summer and continue into Winter focussing on perennials and shrubs as well as many useful hints and tips for success!

He will also be bringing plants for sale with him, including (so long as I remember to remind him) Crocosmia "Lucifer" (the big RED ones)!

We will also be holding our Association Mystery Fuchsia Competition judging and holding a raffle of which one prize will be two tickets to The WI Centennial Fair at Harrogate held over 3-6th September.

More details on the Ilkley Gardeners' Association, hints and tips, our members only Stores Sheds at Leeds Road Allotments open Sunday 6th September between 10am and noon where substantial discounts can be found on fertilizers, composts and barks.
