Yorkshire Regional Championships 2007 Nuthana Prathivadi, of Halifax, has been chosen to represent the Wharfedale Festival of Performing Arts at the Yorkshire Regional Festivals Championships on Saturday 8th September, at St Margaret's Church Hall, Horsforth, (Leeds).
 
This event is staged by the Yorkshire region of the British & International Federation of Festivals, the largest organisation of amateur performing arts in the UK and beyond, and entry into the competition is achieved by nomination. Only one solo performer in dance, speech & drama and music can be nominated per festival.
