Then please get in touch with us, we have 9 meetings a year where we enjoy a guest speaker, always the first Thursday of the Month starting at 7.45pm in the centre of Ilkley. We are always interested in entertaining speakers with a horticultural topic and we'll even pay you. If you think you fit the bill, please Get In Touch. (Now booking for 2016).

All meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month, March through to December, starting at 7.45pm. Doors open by 7.30 with a cup of tea and biscuits available (included in admission) and are held in the Ilkley Parish Church House Hall, by the main lights in the centre of Ilkley.

The Association has a thriving Stores Shed which stocks Multipurpose compost, John Innes compost, Composted and Ornamental Barks.

We also buy fertilisers in bulk, splitting into 5kg bags for sale. This allows us to get very advantageous prices, which of course are passed on to our members.

We also offer Dobies Miniplants each spring and these prove very popular with our membership. Usually Begonias, Busy Lizzies and Petunia varieties are offered, and of course, a discount is given to members from their catalogue prices!

It is not unknown for the membership fee to be saved in one visit to the stores. Check out our openings for 2005/06.

For non-members, a list of products normally stocked is here and for members, a passworded area giving current prices is available here.

We are delighted to advise our members that from August 2012 we will be stocking SEER Rockdust, as extolled by Phil Dunnett of Ribblesdale Nurseries on his visit to us on July 5th 2012.

Phil was so enthused by Rockdust that we have applied to the makers of Rockdust and been accepted as an official stockist of the soil improver.

More details to follow.
